14 weeks

Well Mia is 14 weeks old now. I updated with some new pictures

3 months old!!

Well, Miss Mia is 3 months old today! It is amazing to think that 3 months ago today, our lives changed so much! I don't think anyone is great prepared for the change that comes when a baby arrives, however, I wouldn't change it for the world. Everyday I am more and more amazed by our little girl. She has started giggling and it is by far one of the funniest and cutest things I have ever seen. And each time it brings me to tears to see my little girl growing and changing. She is so beautiful and even on the rough days, I am in awe of the miracle she is! Josh and I are so in love with Mia!

Okay I know this looks weird, but Mia is obsessed with her burp clothes. We call them her "stink". She can't sleep without it and when she is really tired she likes it completely covering her face, like in this picture! Don't worry she can still breathe and when she doesn't like it anymore she pulls it off. It is seriously like crack for her! :)

12 weeks old!

Well, my little girl is officially 12 weeks old! My, where has the time gone! I also started my new job this week, which has been amazing and stressful all at the same time. Amazing to have a part-time job with such amazing people and to have some adult interaction, but stressful leaving my beautiful baby girl at home. However, I know she is in awesome hands! So here are her pictures..12 weeks old!

Mia's First Time at the Pool

So today was an eventful day! I took Mia swimming for the first time. She loves bathtime so I was hoping that she would love swimming just as much. She is too little to go underwater, but I at least wanted to get her in the pool. It was great, my aunts from Colorado and Missouri were in town and so we met at my cousins for lunch and then headed to the pool. My aunt that lives in town was also there, so it was really nice to spend some family time.

What an awesome time we had! It was great to be outside on a beautiful day with family!

What an amazing week!

Well, Mia celebrated her first 4th of July this year...and while she was still in bed by 7:45, because that is when bedtime is, she still got dressed up in her Daddy's Little Sparkler outfit...she was too cute. She also had her 2 month well check. So we went to the Dr. and she is 22.5 inches long, which is in the 50th percentile for height and she is 13lbs, 2oz which is in the 95th percentile for weight...so Mia is a little chunky. Oh well, we love her that way! She is doing so much better on her new formula, she is actually a "happy" baby now. She is cooing and smiling and is just growing and changing everyday. Some days I just sit and watch her, thinking about blessed I am to have her in my life. I have updated with LOTS of new pictures for everyone to check out.

11 weeks old! She is SO bigAll by herself!

She's Getting Big!

Well our little girl is officially 10 weeks old today. Seriously, where has the time gone. In less then 2 weeks I will be headed back to work for 4 hours a day, I can't believe how fast being off work has gone. Mia is growing each day and doing new things every time we look at her...she is such an amazing baby. Last night she slept from 8pm to 5am...what a blessing...then went back to bed until 8...she is becoming a pretty good sleeper. YAY!
